Gudmundur Fridriksson co-founded Paga Hill Development Company with a vision: to develop a world-class, master planned estate on 20 hectares of land abutting the Central Business District of Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea. Gudmundur Fridriksson has realised this dream with Paga Hill Estate, which recently received the green light from local government and is set to begin construction this year.

Gudmundur Fridriksson is a highly knowledgeable and experienced business leader, with over thirty years’ experience in managing a diverse range of projects in PNG, Europe, China, Hong Kong and Australia. With his unique balance of strategic insight, operational expertise and people skills— and supported by his MBA education— Gudmundur Fridriksson engages with key stakeholders, investors and leads a dedicated team of professionals who are passionate about Papua New Guinea and the Paga Hill Estate development.

Gudmundur Fridriksson has held high-level management positions over a six-year period for Indigenous empowerment organisations in Australia, including time as the CEO of the Cape York Institute, Deputy CEO for Cape York Partnership, and Business Development Manager and Mossman Gorge Visitor Centre Project Manager for Balkanu Cape York Development Corporation. During this period, Gudmundur Fridriksson also held the position of Director of Cape York Welfare Reform— where he worked closely with Queensland State and Australian Federal governments to implement and oversee the trial of an innovative and comprehensive social development program.

Gudmundur Fridriksson also co-founded and managed CCS Anvil from 2000 to 2006, which provided project management and development consulting services to public-sector clients in Papua New Guinea.
